Ricciarelli are the rich sweet of the Sienese tradition, in ancient times dedicated to high-ranking families, based on egg whites, almonds and sugar.
Our Ricciarelli have a delicate taste of sweet almond and a very light note of bitter almond, which delicately dampens the sweetness of the icing sugar.
They are entirely handmade and this adds a unique and different flavor to each single ricciarello.
Our experience has led us to make them slightly more golden, so as to bring fragrance and crunchiness to the palate, bite after bite.
