The story of Bottega di Ravacciano
WHERE TRADITION MEETS FANTASY
La Bottega di Ravacciano was born as a store of the Forno di Ravacciano, a fixture of Tuscan bread in Siena for over 50 years.
It is a family business, founded by the brothers Gianfranco and Daniele Brogi, who have always produced bread and baked goods using only selected raw materials and respecting long and slow processing times, thus giving life to products of the highest quality.
Together with the quality of the ingredients, the experience and skill of bakers and pastry chefs, respect for tradition and love for good bread are the fundamental elements that characterize the production of Forno di Ravacciano.
Every day, in our artisan laboratory, we make many types of bread, suitable for all palates: from traditional Tuscan bread to cereals, turmeric or with various spices.
We also produce other salty baked products, such as our “ciaccino”, a typical focaccia of the area, crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside.
Our production also includes a wide range of sweet bakery products: dry breakfast biscuits, shortbread biscuits in various flavors but, above all, the typical Sienese sweets, which bring us back to the goodness of the flavors of the past. Products that were made with “poor” ingredients, such as almonds, walnuts or spices instead of sugar: we therefore offer ricciarelli, panforte, panpepato, cavallucci and pan co ‘santi, all strictly faithful to traditional recipes.
La Bottega di Ravacciano brings quality and taste to the table every day.
